Yes, I think that TakingITGlobal has given me an opportunity to network with various youth globally, and to gain a better understanding of what is happening internationally. As well I believe that TIG can do even more in terms of creating an inclusive environment for young people to network, gather ideas, and reflect upon their personal challenges, especially with regards to youth in Africa. A good leader is one who carries the burdens of those they are leading. He/she should exhibit exemplary leadership skills to be a good leader, and he/she should lead through service in addition to understanding the importance of keeping his/her followers motivated. Lastly a good leader is one who does not hesitate to make sacrifices for those they are leading whenever and wherever a situation calls for such a response. ( read more)
